Election Day

I voted for the first time in Florida on Tuesday.  I was surprised how few people were in line when I got to our voting precinct.  After researching the candidates and the proposed amendments, I felt torn on some of the options.  When you have two candidates that you don't approve of, it is hard to vote for either one.  I hope that our elected officials will remember that they are supposed to represent their constituents and not their own pocketbooks.  I am so thankful that I am able to participate in the process of government and have a voice in policy that affects myself and my community.
